‘동양의 우주’를 주제로, 자연과 무한의 여백을 담은 하늘의 이미지를 담았습니다. 슈퍼포지션은 이를 전통 수묵화의 철학에서 출발해 여백, 자연과 합일하는 시선, 단순함 속에서 드러나는 무한함을 현대적인 방식으로 풀어냈습니다. 먹의 농담과 번짐 대신, 빛과 그림자의 겹침, 표면의 질감을 통해 완성된 이번 작업은 슈퍼포지션만의 새로운 수백화(繡白畵)적 시도입니다. 

This project explores the theme of the “Eastern Cosmos,” capturing a sky-like imagery that embodies nature and infinite emptiness.
Superposition begins from the philosophical foundations of traditional East Asian ink painting, reinterpreting concepts of void, unity with nature, and the infinity revealed through simplicity in a contemporary visual language.

Rather than relying on the tonal gradations and bleeding effects of ink, this work is realized through the layering of light and shadow and the tactile qualities of the surface. It represents Superposition’s unique and experimental approach to a new form of “Subaekhwa (繡白畵)”—a contemporary reinterpretation of monochrome painting.
